Attending the CF Conference in Denver

I attended the Conference in November, and I’m working to get a CF nutrition section set up on our site. I’ve met with Ami Assayag of Nutrimaps.com. This looks like a favorable partnership.  We can seque the program into many of our sites including gastro.

Direct To Consumer DTC

This week, we’re getting ready to go to the DTC Pharma conference in Parsippany, NJ.  I know so many things about DTC.  What do I know?  I know the members at the www.cysticfibrosis.com site are SMART!  They know about the PARI nebulizers, and all the others.  They can tell the sales team a thing or two about cleaning and caring for the nebs and what medicines go which way. They’d like to have a portable cleaner for the nebulizers and they’ve already designed it!…a deep fat fryer with a thermastat.  They wish the nebs came in colors because the magic markers wear off.  They’d pay more!  They’re learning from our sponsor Ambry Genetics, they can ask for deeper genetic testing.  They’re learning what to ask the doctor.   There are three types of vests for the cf patients to help with the physio.  They only knew about one. Now they can compare three.

The list goes on…just listen at the forums and find out what the patients know and what they need.  I listen every day.  The conference should be interesting!

I’ll let you know.

Relationship Marketing

We have so many great examples on ourwww.CysticFibrosis.com site
PARI and AMBRYGEN are talking directly to our patients. They're answering questions and building relationships and improving patient compliance.

Relationship marketing may also be called personalized marketing. The goal of personalized marketing is to deliver the right information to the right person at the right time.

We're looking forward to having many more relevant sponsors.

We offer Direct, Targeted Marketing!

At our CF Web site we offer you the sponsors, direct, targeted marketing. We've read “the future of marketing is building deeper relationships with the consumers”.

I love when you interact with the community. It's obvious they appreciate being able to question and know you're there.

Last week, PARI greeted them with “Hi Sonia and Gang”. PARI is part of the community! They know the lingo…they've taken the time to read the messages and build a deeper relationship.

Does this result in ROI? I had this dream back in 1996, a community and all the relevant sponsors interacting with them. I dreamt about this as the best possible case for our patient community.

Now, I'm thinking of you the marketers and advertisers. This is cutting edge for you! Is it working? Is it improving patient compliance?

Please give it time and let me know!
If you'd like to sponsor our site email me!
or call 973-559-5058.

There's more to healthcare marketing

than DTC or DTP. At MLBurke, we believe in creating messages that connect all the decision-makers, linking everyone who influences purchases or uses a particular healthcare product.

We've had patient communities for 10 years.

Our CF community is one of the longest on the Internet.

Our strength is now leveraged to the sponsors, all relevant products for our community.

The sponsors interacting directly with their community! We're building information and patient compliance.

Justin, the VAL….

Well, it was four years of study and hard work. However, I must say that everything has worked out very well. I know that things will just keep getting better.
